This orchid species can be propagated with the partition of the so called ‘pseudobulbs’. Long and narrow leaves grow up to 100 cm. Racemes which occur at the end of winter carry numerous flowers of white, yellow, orange or various shades of rosy colouring.
In spring after flowering, use orchid substrate. Repeat every 3-4 years.
Plenty of light, but avoid the strong summer sun. Optimum temperature is 25°C, minimum winter temperature 10°C. Re-water when substrate runs dry Ensure that the relative air humidity is high. Feed every two weeks during the active growth season.
