A deciduous bush which grows 30cm tall. Blooms abundantly in may and june. Its flowers are bell shaped and pale-pink or white in color. The fruits are round dark blue berries which ripen during summer. It prefers acidic, fertile and moist soil. Sensitive to drought but tolerant to low temperatures.
