An evergreen bush which grows 10 to 40 centimeters in height. Flowers in may and june. Its fruits are small shiny red berries which ripen in august and september. High in nutrients and antioxidants. It prefers acidic, moist and fertile soil in a shady position. Resistant to low temperatures.
