Evergreen shrub growing up to 4 meters. Leaves are small, oval, and dark green in color. It blooms in spring, the flowers are white and numerous, attracting many pollinators. Characteristic yellow, orange or red fruits ripen in autumn and stay on branches during winter. It is often planted as a hedge.
