Evergreen shrub which grows up to 2 meters. A quite long flowering period starts mid-summer and lasts during autumn. Multicolored hybrids exist, varying from white, pink, violet, blue, red and plenty more. Also hybrids with variegated leaves. In areas with a temperate climate it prospers out in the open.
