Indoor plants
Mother-in-Law’s Tongue - Sanseveria trifasciata
This classic amongst the indoor plants has an underground stalk, the so called rhizome, from which a long, sabre-shaped leaves sprout, variegated with the shades of green or yellow colouring. At some varieties, leaves are bordered with yellow.

TransplantingIn spring, when rhizomes sprout on surface of the supstrate.

CarePlenty of light, but avoid the strong summer sun. Optimum temperature is 20-22°C, minimum winter temperature 15°C. Re-water when substrate runs dry, rarely at winter. Feed every two weeks during the active growth season.
