Prayer Plant - Maranta leuconeura

Various cultivars within this low growth plant species have characteristic patterns on their, up to 12 cm long, oval leaves.

Transplanting

In spring, if necessary, into a lightly acidic supstrate.
Care

Bright sunny position, but which avoids direct sunlight. Optimum temperature is 20-25°C, minimum winter temperature 15°C. Water the plant moderately with soft water. Feed every two weeks during the active growth season.
