A deciduous bush which grows up to meter and a half in height. Blooms in spring and bears fruits in early summer. Fruits are red berries which are sour and refreshing. It prefers a sunny or semi-sunny position and a fertile well-drained soil. Pruning is important to maintain productivity. Tolerant to low temperatures.
