A deciduous tree which can grow up to 6 meters. It develops many slender branches and forms a round crown. Blooms in april while leafing out. Flowers are white. Fruits are similar to cherries but smaller and more sour in taste. More resistant to low temperatures than a cherry tree. A great ingredient for juices, cordials and liquors.
