A deciduous tree which can grow up to 10 meters tall. Its crown is well branched. Flowers are white in color with many yellow anthers. Blooms in april while leafing out. Fruits are blue,red or yellow in color, oval and meaty with a stone pit in the middle. Time of ripening depends upon variety.
